Medicare is confusing! We are here to make it simple. With so many things to consider, deciding your coverage is intimidating—that’s why Med-Advisors.com is here to help.
Medicare Explained
Medicare is a US Federal Government health payer program that provides payment coverage support for health and medical care. Started in 1965 to help those who could not afford health or medical care in their retirement years, or who were totally disabled from certain diseases like end-stage renal disease.
When an American citizen turns 65, you are eligible for Medicare. The different “parts” refer to the different types of payment support and coverage provided by Medicare.
All Medicare recipients get minimal, basic payment assistance for Parts A, B and D covering hospital stays, doctor visits and to pay for some drugs. The extra costs will come in the form of premiums and/or co-pays to be paid by you.

Mark Hight
I have spent my entire career finding products to fit my customer’s needs. I began my career in the insurance field in 1998 advising seniors on Medicare and Medicare Insurance and continue to serve seniors today. These years have been invaluable. The business and life lessons, I have learned taught me the importance of customer service and the ability to do the best job for my clients.
I have a 19-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, volunteering at my church or kid’s schools, golfing, scuba diving and watching my kids play sports.
Ron Humphries
An Oklahoma boy through and through. Following my completion of college, I spent several years working in the wireless industry. In 2006, I entered the Medicare field and haven’t looked back. Customer service has and always will be where my focus remains. Solving problems with our clients has given me the most enjoyment of anything we do.
My high school sweetheart, Beverly and I have been married for 30 years. We have six wonderful children and 3 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing golf, and coaching wrestling for my young twins.
Amy Barclay
I started in the Medicare industry in 2017, after taking time to raise my kids. As a graduate from Oklahoma State University, my passion is in sales and marketing specializing in finding the right product for my clients. I work closely with Ron and Mark running the office and helping our clients find the right Medicare product.
I live on a small farm in Catoosa with my husband Aaron of over 20 years, and our 3 kids. You can catch me traveling, reading, or cheering for my kids at their sporting events. Fun fact: my husband and kids all have New Zealand citizenship.
Bo Barclay
The office mascot! Comes in most Mondays to help make your Medicare journey more comfortable. He is a 3-year-old labradoodle full of love. On his days off he enjoys running on the farm with his sister, chasing the ball, and sleeping on the couch with our kids.
